The 4th WUWM Retail Conference closed its sessions on June 21, after two days of purposeful work at Van Limmikhof in Amsterdam. Delegates from 11 coutries participated in the event held under the theme: "Retail Markets: the Visible Difference", hosted by the City of Amsterdam, the Dutch Market Traders Association (CVAH) and the Dutch Association of Municipal Market Managers (NVgM).

The annual WUWM conference, in which the Wholesale and Retail Markets Association took part for the first time, was held September 14-17, 2010 in Palma de Mallorca (Spain).

Yuzhny Shopping Complexin Stavropol, Russia, joined World Union of Wholesale Markets on June 15, 2010. Maria Cavit, WUWM Secretary General, in this connection said: "We hope that Yuzhny's entry in WUWM will open a new page in the Union's relationships with the Russian Federation."
